| Resumen: | Con el objeto de conocer el diagnóstico situacional del uso indebido de alcohol y otras drogas psicoactivas en el ámbito laboral, se realizó una encuesta dirigida a una muestra de 94 trabajadores de una empresa petrolera. Dicha encuesta constaba de 60 de preguntas codificadas, la misma que se probó en un estudio piloto. Los rubros que se investigaron fueron: aspectos generales socio-demográficos, patrones de consumo de alcohol y otras drogas, formas de policonsumo y conocimientos sobre el perfil de riesgo de daño por dicho consumo, su asociación a trastornos psicosomáticos, así como otros puntos de interés. El estudio es de tipo prospectivo, descriptivo y analítico. El problema de alcohol y otras sustancias psicoactivas en el ámbito laboral es considerable. A través de este diagnóstico situacional se ha podido identificar las probables causad a problemas cuya solución es viable, el cual será el punto de partida para la planeación, organización y ejecución de acciones dirigidas a mejorar el estado de salud de la población. This survey was consisting about 60 precodified questions. The same was proved in a pilot study. This items that were investigated were general aspect, socio-demographics data, standards of alcohol and other drugs consumption, policonsumption forms and knowledge of damage risk profile by this consumption, its association to psicoactives disorders to others interesting matters. Is a prospective, descriptive and analytical study. The issue of the alcohol and others psicoactives substances in the occupational area is significant. Through this diagnosis has been able to identify the probable causes from problems whose solutions is viable.
