| Resumen: | El objetivo fue determinar el nivel de satisfacción de la madre del recién nacido hospitalizado sobre la calidad del cuidado del profesional de enfermería en el Servicio de Neonatología del Instituto Nacional Materno Perinatal-2013. Material y Método: El estudio fue de nivel aplicativo, tipo cuantitativo, método descriptivo de corte transversal. La muestra fue obtenida mediante el muestreo probabilístico de proporción para poblaciones finitas conformado por 33 madres. La técnica fue la entrevista y el instrumento un formulario tipo Likert, que se aplicó previo consentimiento informado. Resultados: Del 100 por ciento (33), 61 por ciento (20) tienen satisfacción media, 21 por ciento (7) alta y 18 por ciento (6) baja; en la dimensión Técnico-Científica, 61 por ciento (20) tienen satisfacción media; en la dimensión Humana 46 por ciento (15) tienen satisfacción media, en la dimensión Entorno 70 por ciento (23) tienen satisfacción media. Conclusiones: La mayoría de las madres tienen satisfacción media a alta, referida a que algunas veces la enfermera se demora cuando tiene que atender al bebe, frecuentemente sintió que influyó positivamente en la salud de su bebe y aprecian que las instalaciones están adecuadamente distribuidas, son modernas y limpias, sienten comodidad en el área que se extraen leche y que su bebe se mantuvo protegido por nidos de contención y cunetas apropiadas. Se pudo detectar satisfacción baja ya que muy pocas veces se identificó y la saludó por su nombre, algunas veces cuando le informó utilizó un lenguaje difícil de entender y a veces estuvo dispuesta a atenderla en lo que le solicitaba. (AU)^iesThe objective was to determine the level of satisfaction of the mother of the newborn on the quality of hospital care nurse in the Department of Maternal and Neonatal Perinatal National Institute-2013. Materials and Methods: The study was level application, quantitative, cross-sectional method. The sample was obtained by probability sampling from finite population ratio comprised 33 mothers. The technique was the interview and the instrument performs a Likert form, that prior informed consent is given. Results: 100 per cent (33), 61 per cent (20) have average satisfaction, 21 per cent (7) high and 18 per cent (6) low; in Technical and Scientific dimension, 61 per cent (20) have average satisfaction; Human dimension in 46 per cent (15) have average satisfaction, the Environment dimension 70 per cent (23) have average satisfaction. Conclusions: Most mothers have average satisfaction high, relative to that sometimes the nurse promptly when he has to attend to the baby, often he felt positively influenced the health of your baby and appreciate the facilities are properly distributed, they are modern and clean, feel comfort in the area pumping milk and your baby remained protected nests proper containment and gutters. Could be detected as low satisfaction rarely were identified and greeted by name, sometimes used when he reported a difficult language to understand and sometimes she was willing to treat her as you requested.
