| Resumen: | Se investiga un aspecto de la relación entre lenguaje y pensamiento, en el sentido de si el primero es necesario para el desarrollo del segundo. Del pensamiento se toma un componente básico que es el elemento con que se cumple este proceso: el concepto de conservación del contexto de la teoría de Piaget en el nivel de las operaciones concretas. Este concepto se investiga en sus tres formas de expresión: de cantidad de materia, de número discreto y de peso. Se compara dos grupos de niños sordos congénitos y otro con audición y lenguaje normales. Se concluye que la evidencia de la noción de conservación (cantidad de materia, número y peso) es común para los grupos, con la única diferencia que los sordos congénitos lo expresan un tanto más tarde que los normales. (AU)^iesAn aspect of the relation between language and thought is investigated, in the direction that if the first one is necessary for the development of the second. From the thought we take a basic component to complete this process. The concept of conservation of the context of the theory from Piaget in the level of the concrete operations. This concept is investigated in its 3 forms of expression: amount of material, the discreet number and weight. 2 groups of children are compared: congenital deaf and another one with normal hearing and language. It includes that the evidence of the notion of conservation (amount of material, number and weight) is common for the groups, with the only difference that congenital deaf express it lately than normal. In conclusion, at least the concept of conservation like basic element for the completion of thought doesn’t need of language for its development. (AU)^ien.
