| Resumen: | Objetivo: Determinar el valor diagnóstico del índice de perfusión hepática en pacientes cirróticos en el Hospital Nacional PNP Luis N. Sáenz. En el periodo de Enero a Octubre del año 2012 basado en los resultados gammagráficos y por diagnóstico definitivo en historia clínica. Material y métodos: Se realizó un estudio de tipo observacional, descriptivo, retrospectivo y de corte transversal, en el cual se revisaron las historias clínicas de las pacientes que comprendían una edad mayor de 18 años con sintomatología compatible con proceso de cirrosis que hayan acudido al servicio de Medicina Nuclear a realizarse la gammagrafía hepática entre enero y octubre del 2012 en el HNPNP LNS, concluyendo al final con 66 pacientes de los cuales 34 contaban con diagnóstico definitivo de cirrosis hepática según historia clínica confirmado mediante examen ecográfico y de laboratorio, a fin de valorar la eficacia del índice de Perfusión Hepática en el diagnóstico de cirrosis hepática. Resultados: Se incluyeron en el estudio 66 pacientes que cumplieron con los criterios de selección, analizando cada caso y obteniendo los siguientes resultados: el índice de perfusión hepática tiene una sensibilidad del 90.32 por ciento, especificidad del 82.86 por ciento, valor predictivo positivo del 82.35 por ciento y valor predictivo negativo del 90.63 por ciento. Conclusiones: El valor diagnóstico del índice de perfusión hepática en la gammagrafía hepática en el Hospital Nacional PNP LNS es compatible con investigaciones anteriores y con los diagnósticos de las historias clínicas de pacientes diagnosticados con cirrosis hepática, probando ser una prueba diagnóstica confiable en la detección de pacientes con esta enfermedad. In the period from January to October of 2012, based on the results schintigraphic and definitive diagnosis by clinical history. Material and methods: A study of observational, descriptive, retrospective and cross-sectional, in which we reviewed the medical histories of patients comprised older 18 years with symptoms compatible with process of cirrhosis that have gone to the Nuclear Medicine service to perform the liver scan between January and October 2012 at the HN PNP LNS concluding at the end with 66 patients of whom 34 had definitive diagnosis of liver cirrhosis as history confirmed by ultrasound examination and laboratory, in order to assess the effectiveness of the index of hepatic Perfusion in the diagnosis of liver cirrhosis. Results: Were included in the study of 66 patients that met the selection criteria, analyzing each case and obtaining the following results for the index of hepatic perfusion and sensitivity of the 90.32 per cent, specificity of the 82,86 per cent, positive predictive value of the 82.35 per cent and negative predictive value of the 90.63 per cent. Conclusions: The diagnostic value of index of hepatic perfusion in liver scintigraphy in the National Hospital PNP LNS is compatible with previous research and diagnostics of the medical histories of patients diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver, proving to be a reliable diagnostic test in the detection of patients with this disease.
